Choosing between a slope screen separator and a screw press separator depends on several factors, mainly including the material characteristics, and the desired water content of the dewatered solids.
1. Material Characteristics: Consider the characteristics of the material to process, including particle size, viscosity, and moisture content.
2. Desired Moisture Content of Dewatered Solids: If you want to achieve high solids content and low moisture content, a screw press might be more suitable. The water content of the dewatered solid is about 60%.
3. Processing Volume: Take the volume of material you need to process into account. A sloped screen separator is more suitable for higher volumes.
